Olivia Bale from Edge Elementary School won 1st place in the Okaloosa County School District Spelling Bee at Niceville High School. She goes on to compete in the Big Bend Regional Spelling Bee in Tallahassee!
The Niceville High School Track and Field team has dominated their first 4 track meets, The Seahawks Open, The Tiger Relays, The FWBHS Viking Open and the Tallahassee meet. Both the Girls and Boys teams placed first! Go Eagles!
Congratulations to Zander Angelic, South Walton Fire Districts Lifeguard Competitor of the year!
Congratulations to Journey Washingtonhigh, ninth grade student at Fort Walton Beach High School, for winning First Place in the Behavioral and Social Science Category at the recently held 40th Annual East Panhandle Regional Science and Engineering Fair. She now will advance to the Florida State Science Fair in Lakeland Florida. Journey also won the American Psychological Association Award and the Emerald Coast Science Center Award and a two-year Scholarship to Northwest Florida State College.
FWBHS Theater Students attended the International Festival of the Arts at Epcot!
Choctaw Indianettes competed in the National Dance Team Championship placing top 5 in the nation!

Riverside Elementary's Academic Team, taught by Gail Smith, paced 6th in the Thinking Cap Quiz Bowl competition against 19 other 5th Grade teams across the southeast and placed 2nd in Okaloosa County!
