Teen Media Mayham Contest!

Teens between the ages of 13 & 19 are encouraged to check out the new lab, learn about the design contest, and enjoy pizza and soda. at the Destin Library. Teens will then have the opportunity to use the digital media lab to prepare submissions for the Media Mayhem contest running from March 13th through April 10th. Cash prizes will be awarded during National Library Week (April 13‐19) in two categories: Best in Video and Best in Print. Additional prizes may be awarded depending on the number and quality of submissions.

Contest requirements are as follows:

Participants must be between the ages of 13 and 19 to participate.

All entries must incorporate books and/or reading in the theme.

All entrants must spend at least 4 hours of creation time in the Destin Library’s

Digital Media Lab. (The lab may be booked in 2‐hour blocks.)

Best in Print Requirements: Must fit an 11 x 17 page, and finished products must
be printed at the Destin Library.

Best in Video Requirements: Must be a minimum of 2 minutes and a maximum
of 5 minutes in duration. All videos must be uploaded to the Destin Library
YouTube page.

All entries must be printed or uploaded by 5:00 p.m., on Friday, April 10th.
