Fitness Enthusiast and Specialist in Fitness Nutrition Crystal Tingle is entering the book market with the introduction of her first e-guide, The Fit and Healthy Life. Her passion for fitness and health started after the age of 40 with her own transformation and has transcribed into an online resource site suitably called The Fit and Healthy Life. The site serves to empower and encourage women to be the best version of themselves at any age.
After launching her site and offering Skype consultations that provided a meal plan and workout, Crystal was inundated with clients. This was a wonderful thing; however, it became more and more difficult to manage since there was continuous follow-up with each person to ensure results. Crystal had to limit the number of ladies she could help at one time and felt if she wrote out most of the knowledge they needed, which was to learn the foundation basics of fit eating, she could reach more ladies who were desperately seeking answers and change. She decided to write the guide.
“Many women think they are eating healthy when they are not,” Crystal explains. “Healthy food in the wrong amounts can still make you store fat. I have written guidelines to follow to ensure proper portions, maximum calorie burn and choosing the bad, better or best foods to eat to burn more fat and calories. Readers will learn what to eat, when to eat and how much to eat each day to achieve their specific goal.”
Crystal has plans for many more guides. She is concurrently writing two more in addition to this one. One is a Fit Spirit guide that will be a 30-day devotional to help not only renew bodies but minds through God’s Word. “I struggled with body image for a long time and still, as a woman, I battle insecurities that are calmed only when I recognize that I was created to be me, BeYOUtifully me and no one else,” Crystal says. “And when I wrap my head and heart around that, the gym and all the results are added benefits. “
The other guide is a 7-Day Fit Start Meal Plan for Women. Crystal recently reposted a quote she read that said, “Once you see results, it becomes an addiction.” “This is so true,” she says.
“This guide will help to jumpstart the weight loss while preserving muscle. Transforming your body takes time especially since this is not a fad diet program; it is a lifestyle change that will last. It is not special occasion fast and furious dieting, so to see a small but significant change right away in how your clothes may fit is a reward that propels you to press on for that higher goal.”
Crystal says she struggled for years with body image, and this struggle resulted in an eating disorder. She spent most days obsessing over her imperfections and comparing herself to other women. When she learned to break the cycle of comparison and focus on competing with only herself, it was so freeing. It enabled her to get to know herself, her strengths and her weaknesses... “those things that make me
uniquely me.” She began to recognize the triggers that either made her stumble or the ones that motivated her to push through another day to reach her goals. “I want every woman to grab hold of that and focus on becoming YOUniquley her, the best most beautiful her and to be comfortable in the journey by loving who she is at every mile marker along the way!”
The Fit and Healthy Life will be available late spring/early summer and can be downloaded from Crystal’s site at
