Pet of the week

 My name is Opal

I have been of this earth for 2 years and I am still for my looking for my forever home. Currently I am living in a lovely foster home and hope to find a forever home that is just as nice. I am super sweet, have a great personality, and I interact well with my pasture mates. My foster humans tell me I am very smart too.

I have been an Alaqua horse for a year. I haven't fully grown, so I am almost ready for my ground work in preparation for riding. I just know I am going to love learning to ride because I am such a people pleaser. I am a quick learner and I stand readily for the farrier and the vet. I just had my dental and I am in excellent health. I am not scared to load in the trailer and I am very trusting. I am around 14 hands now and probably won't be over 15 hands when grown.

When I dream about my forever home, I feel as though I would be a perfect lap horse. They tell me that there is no such thing, but I am pretty sure if there were, I would be the perfect one! I just love attention and being close to humans brings me such pleasure. I will be so happy to be part of a family. In the meantime, I will continue to grow and love and dream. Please help me find the perfect home. I am oh so ready!
