Farmers’ Markets

Where can you go on a sunny day to get fresh food, meet new people, and experience outdoor fun? A farmers’ market!

Known for a wide array of foods, farmers’ markets are a unique shopping experience. Shoppers experience the illusion of travelling around the world as they walk from vendor to vendor, each displaying items that relate to the owner. At one, you may see a wide assortment of fruits and veggies, and at another, you may be engulfed in the sweet perfume of soaps.   Featuring the best of locally grown farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh local seafood, homemade pastas, sauces, crab cakes, honey, olive oil, preserves, and salsas, farmers’ markets will allow you to find what’s just right for you.

The exciting part is there are so many of these markets available On the Coast!

The 30A Farmers Market @ Rosemary Beach is open Sundays year round and also on Thursdays from Memorial Day to Labor Day from 9am-1pm.

The Seaside Farmers’ Market, located at County Road 30-A in Seaside, is open 8am to 12pm Saturdays and Tuesdays.

The Destin Harbor Farmers’ Market is open 10 am to 2 pm Saturdays at 314 Harbor Boulevard in Destin. (850) 499-4697

The Fort Walton Beach Farmers’ Market, located at the corner of 201 SE Miracle Strip Pkwy and Ferry Road, is open the 2nd Saturday of each month, 8 am to noon.

Farmers’ markets are created to provide a place for local farmers to display their products and other locally-created food. They are places where you can experience the culture at its best through learning about sustainable farming practices by directly getting to know the people who grow the food. It’s a fun, educational way to learn about the culture On the Coast.

Cool Factors: Local venders, fresh homemade food, locally-grown produce, unique products, outdoor shopping
