Eglin AFB covers 464,000 acres in the Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton counties. This large amount of untouched land has many breathtaking natural features and endless recreational activities. Fishing, camping, canoeing scenic waters, mountain biking, and hiking are just a few of the enjoyable opportunities in this area. Furthermore, Eglin AFB is home to more than 106 rare listed plant species and animals. Just off Highway 85, three miles north of Niceville, this area has an elevated boardwalk, a picnic shelter, pier, and camping areas.

and order a permit to go fishing, boating, or hunting. Exploring the wild and navigating the unknown wilderness has never been as fun and breathtaking as it is at Eglin Wildlife Management Area in Florida.
