Spring Fest 2014 a Huge Success!

Saturday May 17th proved to be a spectacular day - not only with the gorgeous weather but with glorious entertainment and vendors that lined HarborWalk Village all for On the Coast Magazines and Okaloosa Arts Alliance Spring Fest 2014. Hundreds came out to enjoy the day. 

Over 40 arts and crafts vendors displayed and sold one of a kind pieces that were snatched up by visitors to the festival. Many local business vendors also participated. Thank you all. Okaloosa Arts Alliance would like to thank all of the Okaloosa County School students that participated in the 6th annual OAA Okaloosa County School Poster Contest.  With 306 posters on display, all painted and drawn by Okaloosa students from K-12th grades, it was such a great showing!

Elementary (K-4)

2nd Place - Ronald Gurney - 2nd Grade - Plew
3rd Place - Olin Wolfgram - 4th Grade - Liza Jackson

Middle School (5-7 Grades)
1st Place - Ora Wolfgram - 7th Grade - Liza Jackson
2nd Palce - Aucrea Hoford - 7th Grade - Rocky Bayou
3rd Place Gabriel Fidler - 7th Grade - Rocky Bayou

High School (8-12 Grades)
Andrea De Jesus - FWB HS - 12th Grade
2nd Palce - Nina Brown - 8th Grade - Liza Jackson
3rd place - Asianinh Olshfski - 8th Grade - Rocky Bayou

A silent auction was also held with generous donations coming in from White-Wilson Medical Center, Emerald Coast Concert Association, Seablaster, Ramada Plaza Beach Resort, Southern Vacation Rentals, Sinfonia Gulf Coast, Bill Head, Newman-Dailey Resort Properties, Pat Federinko, Wyndham Resorts, Act4Murder, Papa Murphys, German Club, Destin Commons Belk, A.C. Moore, Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation, Fudpuckers, Children in Crisis, Silver Sands Premium Outlets, Special Touch Gallery, and Golden Nugget Casino in Biloxi. many supporters. Over $3000 was raised to support the OAA.
