The Glass Slipper Tea Cottage
222 Staff Dr NE, Fort Walton Bch (850) 362-6670

Just off the beaten path in Fort Walton Beach, if you look hard enough, you will find a quaint, elegant little tea cottage that has found Cinderella’s magical shoe! The Glass Slipper Tea Cottage is a charming place whose white picket fence, beautifully landscaped plants and relaxing front porch welcome guests with an inviting rocking chair that holds a small lap-sized chalkboard reminiscent of one carried by school children headed off to their oneroom school house.

The simple word “OPEN” is all you need to feel cherished as you venture inside to select your cup and tea. They offer their guests a “Traditional Tea” that includes soup, finger sandwiches, quiche, scones with cream or lemon curd and additional sweets, a slightly smaller assortment of goodies called the “Lighter Touch Tea” as well as several a la carte sandwiches and menu items. They are open from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM Wednesdays through Fridays only, with special parties and events on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Owners Jim and Shirley Simpson and Shirley’s sister, Carolyn, believe that the Glass Slipper Tea Cottage offers you a transformation of spirit as you take a break from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind and sit back and let them pamper you with great tea, incredible food and their Creator’s love!
